I am a photographer and illustrator living and working in the mountains of Vermont. Inspired by my rural Michigan childhood and family camping trips around the country, my subject matter tends to revolve around nature. I work mainly digitally in photography, however I have a growing collection of old film cameras that I've been enjoying experimenting with, and post the results in my blog.
I was born and raised in rural Michigan and obtained a BA in Art and Art History from Kalamazoo College in 2010. I went on to complete a post-baccalaureate program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 2012 focusing on photography.
In the spring of 2014 I joined Wild Apple, an art publishing and licensing agency as a designer and artist. It has been a wonderful experience so far and I continue to learn new things every day as I explore this new side of the art world.
